 Rainbows and Girl Guides
with
Phil McAnespie & The Honey Bees

We welcomed two groups of Rainbows and Girl Guides from Alloway to enjoy an evening inside the conservatory and learn all about the honey bee.

The night kicked off with an informative talk from our resident beekeeper Phil McAnespie, followed by candle making with Joyce, and honey tasting with Fiona and Jane.  The girls enjoyed exploring our new Natural World and Climate Change Apps on the iPads, with the evening finishing off with delicious hot chocolate from our vending machine.

It was a pleasure to welcome such a great bunch of children.  Thank you to all our volunteers who supported this event.
